i found out that this guy i knew throughout junior high/high school died today…
even though i didn’t know him thaaaat well… i feel like i should write about him a little. he was in at least one of my classes every year from 8th grade onward. we did SYS together, we went to the same music camp over summers, we were both in DHS symphony…all those times making fun of each other or poking each other with our bass/violin bows… i didn’t know he was going to develop a tumor and then die at such a young age…
there are so many “i should’ve”s running through my mind. i should’ve just gone to the 9th grade dance with him LOL. i should’ve paid attention to our IM convos instead of basically ignoring the weird stuff he’d mention. i should’ve said something when he first told the orchestra he was going through treatment.
i honestly have no idea whether he was a believer or not, but hopefully between graduation to now he had multiple opportunities to hear about the gospel. Heaven’s infinitely better than our world here…forrealz. here’s a shoutout to chris: you’ll be missed. :(

- missed all of my classes for a dentist appointment. it’s okay it’s okay it’s okay. avoid situations like these in the future.
- my mouth hurts like crazy…i wont be able to eat normal food. you get to eat junction ice cream later! and rejoice in your sufferings! be grateful that your treatment goes on your parents’ bill, not yours.
- i saw my sister today for a short amount of time. she misses you, cherish her! you get to see her a lot more than your friends get to see their siblings, be thankful.
- i might be doomed for my midterm. study hard starting now! get off of Facebook, it’s not helping you focus.
- i’m sick of Tercero…i need a break from here. UCD has many study lounges, all just a bike ride away. go study somewhere else tonight!
